Description

SMP VL are designed for operation in areas with temperate and (or) cold climate in conditions provided for climatic version UHL category 1 according to GOST 15150 and must meet the requirements of GOST 15150 and GOST 15543.1 in terms of climatic factors. Operating values of ambient temperature from plus 45C to minus 60C.SMP VL consists of a gas-discharge lamp, electrode, a set of fasteners on the wires of overhead lines (overhead lines).

One contact of the lamp is connected to the phase wire, the second to the electrode suspended parallel to the phase wire. Power extraction for the lamp power supply is carried out due to the potential difference between the electrode and the phase wire.

Switching the lamp on and off is performed autonomously. The main operating voltage of SMP overhead line is horizontal.
