Vacuum electrothermal KB 150 is designed for sintering of products at temperatures up to 2300C. The elements and systems of the furnace are located on a welded metal structure (supporting frame). The frame is a support for other elements of the furnace system.
The chamber is a cylindrical, vertically arranged body with technological openings, made of stainless steel, closed at both ends with lids. To the lower lid is attached the graphite furnace underneath and a table for placing the products, on which the tooling is installed. Inside the chamber there is a heating block consisting of a heater and thermal insulation.
Heating elements and lintels are made of isotropic graphite. Between the wall of the working chamber and the heater there is a cylindrical thermal insulation made of graphitised fibre material. The gas-vacuum system includes the system of inert gas inlet into the working chamber (tank) from the line with working pressure of 12 atmospheres with argon and pump system of gas removal.
