Vacuum electrothermal unit KB 115 with a vertically located body and shaft loading and unloading of the cage is designed for various thermal processes (sintering, annealing, soldering, degassing, etc.) in vacuum and inert gas environment at temperatures up to 2500C. The heating chamber includes a cylindrical body, upper (with a viewing window) and lower lids, a mechanism for lifting (tilting) the lid, a heating block, current leads, thermocouples (one - regulating and two - control) and a screen-suspension for placing a cage.
The heating chamber body and lids are made of stainless steel and are equipped with water-cooling jackets. Inside the body of the heating chamber are located: screen heat insulation in the form of molybdenum and tungsten screens, fixed on a stainless steel frame and mounted on the brackets of the body; heaters from tungsten polos/straps, forming a heating-sequential system.
