Vacuum thermal unit KB 135 is designed for a wide range of technological processes in vacuum or neutral gases of high purity (including titanium alloys) at temperatures up to 1100C. It is possible to accelerate cooling of the cask by means of inert gas injection into the working space. The equipment consists of the following units: heating chamber, power transformer, vacuum system, water cooling system, process control cabinet.
The heating chamber is made of stainless steel 12?18?10? with two lids adjustable in two planes, in which the heating block with heaters and screen heat insulation is installed. The body and lids are made with two walls and are cooled by running water.
The lids have observation windows, which make it possible to observe the process of heat treatment. One regulating and two control thermocouples are provided to measure and regulate the temperature.
