The cable contains a core of modular construction with a central power element made of a dielectric rod with spirally applied water-blocking thread, around which optical modules with freely laid fibres are twisted. The core is bound together by winding yarns with water blocking property. The core is spirally overlaid with glass filaments and a medium density polyethylene sheath.
