Pressure stabilisers (PS) are used to dampen vibration and hydraulic shock loads, as well as forced pressure fluctuations and resonance phenomena occurring in pipelines.
Pressure dampers consist of a casing with a perforated pipeline section along its length and perimeter and damping chambers, the hydraulic cavities of which are connected to the casing by means of sockets.
The principle of operation of the SR is based on the dissipative and elastic damping effect on the pumped medium flow distributed along its length.
SRs have the following advantages: instantaneous quick response (0,001 sec.), energy independence, no loss of working medium, environmental friendliness, no additional hydro-resistance and no need for maintenance in the process of operation, ease of installation.
