Description

GL-500 is used for cutting hump logs up to 500 mm wide and dividing it into 1-3 boards up to 170 mm wide. This increases the efficiency and the amount of useful output of the sawmill line.Advantages
- Fast, software-controlled change of the width of the received board
- Sawing speed up to 60 m/min
- Optimum rotation speed of the saw blades
- Maximum material utilisation (high useful output)
- Automatic shear separation on the edger
- High safety margin of the line components
- Humps are fed into the sawing zone by a chain conveyor and held on it by drive ripples providing powerful pulling of the workpiece and high sawing speed.
- The two-shaft sawing system of the splitting machine allows the use of thinner saw blades.
