The stationary information system for the hearing impaired "ISTOK" (hereinafter referred to as information system, device) is designed to provide accessibility to audio information to all population groups by transmitting audio information to persons with impaired hearing function using hearing aids in the mode of induction coil "T".
The information system converts an acoustic signal (speech, music) or an electrical audio signal (signal from any sound-producing devices) into an electromagnetic signal, which is received by the telecoil of the hearing aid. The main functional blocks of the device are a loop amplifier, to the inputs of which audio devices - signal sources - are connected, and an induction loop, connected to the output of the loop amplifier and placed around the perimeter of the room. The area of the sounded room can be from 750 m2 to 1000 m2.
