Optical fibres in the module are grouped into bundles (if the number of fibres is more than 12). Each fibre bundle is wrapped with coloured synthetic thread. A steel wire armour is spirally applied to the central optical module.
Water blocking threads are laid under the armour. The armour is covered with a sheath made of a polymer composition that does not spread combustion and does not emit corrosive-active gaseous products during combustion and smouldering.
