The SOV-4 is an abrasive blasting equipment set with vacuum transport and abrasive recovery, engineered to close the loop that makes conventional blasting wasteful: spent abrasive is vacuumed back, separated and returned to work instead of being swept up and discarded. The system develops a maximum vacuum of 340–360 with suction capacity of 220 at 270 mbar, consumes 7.5 kW at operating parameters, and conveys abrasive across distances up to 10 m.
Working with nickel slag, copper slag, electrocorundum and sand, the set processes up to 4 units of material in recovery mode. The economics are direct — abrasive purchasing and disposal are the dominant operating costs of blasting work, and recovery cuts both, while vacuum collection keeps dust off the site.
Sold per unit, the SOV-4 targets shipyards, steel fabricators, corrosion protection contractors and blasting service companies, supplied by the Russian manufacturer with configuration matched to the buyer's abrasive and site.
