Description

The system of water treatment, water storage and water supply is designed to purify water from open water bodies and wells from suspended solids, colloids, disinfection from bacteria and viruses, from iron, manganese, sulphur compounds, organic substances (including petroleum products), storage of purified water and delivery of purified water under pressure to the consumer network.

The nominal capacity of the system is 10 m3/h (240 m3/day), which is sufficient to supply:
- 1,000 people according to the consumption norms established for the urban population (250 litres/person/day);
- 3,000 people according to the consumption norms established for APL-500 military personnel (80 litres/person/day);
- 50,000 people when water is used only for drinking and cooking.
The system is supplied in full factory readiness, equipped with a stock of consumables, a set of tools and spare parts. The system deployment time is 2 hours.
In terms of appearance, the system is a 20-foot container of type 1C of olive green colour.
The system consists of the following units mounted in a single housing: a unit for storing raw water, a unit for water treatment, a unit for storing treated water, a unit for discharging treated water into the consumer's network.
Water treatment technology. Source water is accumulated in the source water storage unit, from where it enters the blocks of multipatron prefilters, where it is purified from mechanical impurities and dissolved organic substances. Then the water is fed to a two-zone countercurrent reactor for treatment with high ozone concentration (not less than 9% wt.).
Ozone is produced in high-voltage high-frequency barrier discharge generators. High ozone concentration is achieved by applying a special technology of high-efficiency cooling of high-voltage electrodes (anodes) of generators.
Oxygen with concentration not lower than 95% is used as a source gas for ozone production, produced on site in oxygen concentrators, which are a part of the water treatment system equipment. To increase the life of the molecular sieves of the oxygen concentrators, the air entering the concentrators is filtered and dehumidified.
In the two-zone countercurrent reactor there is a complete disinfection of water from bacteria and viruses, oxidation with conversion into insoluble state of compounds of polyvalent metals and semi-metals (iron, manganese, copper, cobalt, mercury, bismuth, thallium, arsenic, antimony, etc.), complete or partial destruction of organic compounds (including complex organophosphorus, organochlorine and arsenic-containing compounds). After ozone treatment in the reactor, organic compounds are either transformed into harmless substances (H2O, CO2) or undergo partial destruction to form less toxic and easily sorbed intermediate compounds.
From the reactor, the water flows to the inlet of a low-pressure pump and is fed to automatically washed filters, where suspended solids formed in the water during oxidation are removed. Further on activated carbons there is a preliminary sorption of products of partial destruction of organic compounds formed during oxidation and destruction of residual dissolved ozone. Further water enters the blocks of multipatron postfilters where microfiltration of water with removal of the remaining ultrafine suspended solids and final sorption on ANM material capable of sorbing dissolved substances in concentrations inaccessible for sorption on activated coals takes place.
The treated water passes through a water meter, is supplied with a preservative dose of sodium hypochlorite and enters the storage tank of the treated water storage unit.
From the storage tank the treated water is supplied under pressure to the consumer's water supply network. The design of the water-dispensing unit allows you to connect the system to the existing water supply networks with pumps of the second lift, to carry out water withdrawal without connecting to the network (in the tank), to supply water to consumers through temporary pipelines, using the pumps of the system for injection of treated water.
