Turbogenerator is designed to generate electricity in continuous rated operating mode S1 according to GOST IEC 60034-1-2014 in direct connection with a steam turbine at a thermal power plant. Climatic version according to GOST 15150-69 and GOST 15543 for operation at an altitude above sea level not exceeding 1000m.
The generator is a three-phase synchronous electric machine with an implicitly pole rotor. It consists of a fixed part - stator, which includes a core and winding, and a rotating part - rotor, on which the excitation winding is placed, supplied with direct current.
Structural design of the generator is closed hermetic. Mechanical energy transferred from the turbine shaft to the generator rotor shaft is converted into electrical energy by electromagnetic means: in the rotor winding under the action of electric current a magnetic flux is excited, under the influence of which an electromotive force and electric current are induced in the stator winding.
