Description
The indicator panels are an integral element of the technology of informing road users from the road infrastructure.
The technology of informing road users with the help of indicator panels is designed to automate the informing of road users in the systems of indirect traffic flow control.
Implementation of indirect traffic flow management systems should fulfil the following objectives:
- automation of the processes of traffic management activities;
- increasing the capacity of the street and road network;
- minimising the average time vehicles spend on the road;
- increasing the confidence of road users in the information provided;
- increasing road safety.
