The frame is a load-bearing base of the body section frame. It is made in the form of a welded structure of steel pipes and closed profiles. The frame is made of steel in accordance with GOST 19281-2014 "Rolled steel of increased strength. General technical conditions" and sheet steel GOST 16523-97 "Rolled thin sheet carbon steel of qualitative and ordinary quality for general purposes".
A box-section beam is welded across the frame of the section to ensure connection of the body section with the bogie.
From the sides of the frames of the outermost sections footrests made of sheet steel are welded in.
To the frames of the end sections from the side of the cabs (from below) are welded brackets for attaching the towing and coupling devices.
