Ground pressure sensor (VMP-DG) is designed to measure the pressure occurring in soils under linear objects and building structures. It is used both for control during construction of the object and for long-term geotechnical monitoring, including remote monitoring. DDG is a metal disc with a cavity inside made of stainless steel 12 mm thick.
Inside it has a cavity filled with working fluid and an overpressure sensor. When loaded, the construction of the DDG is deformed, the working fluid is forced into the cavity of the overpressure sensor, which records the load values in real time. DDGs can be assembled in a daisy chain of up to 20 pieces and connected by a signal cable to a data logger, which processes the digital signal, sets the frequency of data reading from the DDG and sends it to the data acquisition server.
The range of DDGs includes several sizes with a force measuring range of 0.01 - 10 MPa. Modbus RTU; HART, RS 485 / IP68.
