The bogie side frame is cast from low-alloy steel. It consists of horizontal, inclined belts and columns. In the middle of the frame there is an opening for the centre spring suspension, and at the ends there are axlebox openings.
Designated service life is 32 years; axial load is 23.5 tonnes.
