The shut-off-regulating valves are designed for use in pipelines and hydraulic systems as: (1) safety valves (pneumatically operated valves of safety devices systems (SPU) and systems of protection against hydrostroke (SPHU) and (2) shut-off-regulating devices at discharge of a part of liquid flow from the receiving line of the main pumping station into the discharge tank of pressure wave smoothing systems (PSWS). The reaction speed of control valves is counted in tens of fractions of a second, which allows in any situation (normal and abnormal) to stably maintain the required operating parameters.
In case of operation of control valves as a part of SSVDD, in the stationary mode of pumping, the valves are in the closed state. In the event of a sharp increase in pressure in the main oil pipeline, the valves instantly open and discharge part of the oil into station tanks, thereby preventing further sharp increase in pressure above the preset value.
