Separation module is manufactured for use on ships, vessels, offshore facilities, platforms, various industrial facilities and is a system designed for purification of oils and fuels. The advantages of the modular design of the separation system are simplicity of installation and use.
The module can operate independently, in parallel and in series. The separation module separates foreign mechanical, catalytic impurities and water from fuel or oil and removes them using the density difference between the components and the centrifugal forces generated by the rotation of the separator drum.
Water and higher density impurities (sludge) accumulate near the outer wall of the drum under centrifugal force during the separation process. The accumulated sludge is ejected through the separator outlet openings.
