Sand separator is the first stage of treatment facilities and is designed to remove suspended particles and insoluble fractions of petroleum products from wastewater.
The principle of operation is based on the action of gravity: under the action of gravity solids settle to the bottom of the sand separator. The solids accumulated at the bottom are pumped out through a technical well.
The sand separator allows to clean the effluent with incoming concentrations of suspended solids from 3000 mg/l and oil products from 300 mg/l up to the values necessary for directing the effluent to the next stages of treatment.
The enclosure is manufactured according to TU 28.29.12-003-55212321-2021. The design is intended for both underground and above-ground placement.
