Designed for distal locking of shoulder, tibia and femur pins in the saggital plane. The design consists of 3 parts secured by threaded connections. A surgical calibration device used as a precise guide for pre-drilling holes for orthopaedic screws in bone and for guiding orthopaedic instruments into an implanted device, typically in surgeries on long tubular bones (e.g.
femur, humerus and tibia). It typically consists of two parts: 1) a guide bar that accommodates guide holes at the correct angles/precisely positioned; 2) an insertion handle that attaches to the bone in the correct position. The product is usually made of high quality stainless steel or synthetic materials.
Guides for a drill or other drilling/threading devices are guided through the guide bar at a precisely defined angle. This is a reusable product.
