The valves are used as a controlled regulating body to regulate the flow rate of the flowing medium in the operating range in thermal power plants (TPP, CHPP and GRES). In operation, the valve can be controlled remotely or automatically by means of an electric actuator. The design of the electric actuator allows the valve to be adjusted by means of a manual actuator.
The operating principle of the valve is as follows: When a control signal is received, the electric actuator is switched on. As a result, the rotary motion of the spindle sleeve connected to the actuator is converted into a translational motion of the valve spindle and spool. The spool increases or decreases the passage cross-section in the valve cup assembly, thus regulating the amount of medium flowing through the valve.
