The device is a multichannel programmable thermoregulator and is designed for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in clinical-diagnostic and scientific laboratories.Heating and cooling according to a certain programme of matrices, in the nests of which tubes with reaction mixture are installed, is carried out with the help of Peltier elements. The process, which usually consists of cyclically repeated temperature transitions necessary for PCR, is controlled by an inbuilt microcomputer.
In this model of the device three methods of reaction mixture control are implemented - matrix control and two active control methods - "fast" and "accurate", which differ from each other by the parameters of the computational algorithm.
