According to the method of fixing the pump to the pipeline, the sockets in the pump casing can be in two versions - flanged and flangeless.
Suction and pressure flangeless pump connections should have welded coils or press-welded transitions made for welding to the pipework.
The pumps shall be designed for organised collection and drainage of leakage from the mechanical seal through holes in the bath.
