Tools surgical clamping multi-surface are designed for temporary squeezing of tissues during operations to stop bleeding, blocking the lumen of hollow organs or for fixation (retention) of tissues and organs (forceps) and supply of various materials (auxiliary clamps). The clamp consists of two branches (or branches), connected by a lock, which conditionally divides them into a working part (jaws) with teeth and a ring part: Near the rings there is a cremalier for locking the instrument, i.e. setting the working parts in the desired position.
This node in the design of the lock ensures its automaticity, i.e. a certain squeezing action on the tissue without the surgeon's hand.
The cremalier is a series of teeth located on the protrusions of the inner surface of each branch near the rings. The length of the cremalier and the number of teeth on it determine the degree and nature of compression and depend on the volume of tissue the clamp is designed to grasp.
