The Saratov-507M is a large-capacity refrigerated storage cabinet manufactured by BERKUT-2000 LLC, a Russian company operating since 2000 and specialising in medical-grade cooling equipment. The unit is engineered for the temporary holding of Class "B" hazardous medical waste — including potentially infectious materials, pathology specimens, organic surgical waste, and microbiological laboratory waste — in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities in full compliance with SanPiN 2.1.3684-21 sanitary regulations.
The cabinet maintains an internal chamber temperature between -1 and +5 °C across a generous 1,245-litre interior. A dynamic cooling system driven by two internal circulation fans delivers uniform cold-air distribution throughout the chamber volume, preventing temperature stratification even when the space is fully loaded.
An electronic controller with a visual display lets operators monitor and regulate temperature at a glance without opening the doors.
Painted in the regulatory yellow colour required for biohazard waste equipment, the cabinet integrates a bactericidal UV lamp that periodically disinfects the internal surfaces and any containers stored inside. Two independent keyed locks secure the doors against unauthorised access, meeting strict waste-security requirements.
The refrigerator can be supplied together with a 240-litre wheeled container and up to six 35-litre tanks for Class "B" waste, forming a complete on-site staging solution. At 145 kg and 3.9 kW per 24 hours, the unit is straightforward to install in an existing facility.
It conforms to Customs Union Technical Regulations TR CU 004/2011, TR CU 010/2011, and TR CU 020/2011 and does not require a medical device registration certificate.
