ES are used to measure electrochemical potentials as part of electrochemical protection systems for underground structures and metal structures immersed in water. Types of reference electrode: copper-sulphate.
ES is a non-disassembled construction and consists of a cylindrical body, the surface of which is entirely or partially made of material with ionic permeability, inside which there is a metal rod with solid electrolyte; a measuring cable comes out of one of the ends of the body. Service life up to 30 years.
Allowed reuse including after freezing to -40 C.
