LNTs are made of aluminium alloys D16-T or 1953-T1 with conical unsupported thread of triangular profile according to GOST 633-80 and have a special groove for fitting on the elevator, which depending on the type of the used elevator can be made either at an angle of 18 degrees to the pipe axis (for conical elevators) or at a right angle (for end elevators). The CTs are supplied with plastic protective caps to protect their threaded ends during transport and storage
