The glass light transmission meter "TONIK" (hereinafter - the device) is designed to determine the light transmission of tinted and tinted windows for various purposes, including those installed on motor vehicles.
The operating principle of the devices is based on the measurement of light transmission by the glass relative to the total incident light flux.
Spectral sensitivity of photodetector of the device has a characteristic corresponding to the curve of eye sensitivity in the range from 400 to 750 nm with maximum transmittance at the wavelength ?max=560±10 nm.
The process of measuring the light transmittance of glass is performed automatically in accordance with the programme recorded in the microprocessor, while the readings of the device do not depend on the thickness of the glass under test in the range from 0 to 20 mm. The programme allows you to save the measurement results of three glasses for the controlled vehicle.
