The DIAMEH 2000 VM-3000 is a resonance-type horizontal-axis balancing machine built for high-precision dynamic balancing of rotors weighing between 30 and 3,000 kg. Manufactured by DIAMEH 2000 LLC, a Russian specialist in vibration measurement and balancing technology, the VM-3000 belongs to the ВМ/ВМВ series — among the company's most popular product lines, with more than 500 units delivered to customers across industry.
The machine achieves a minimum residual specific unbalance of 0.1 g·mm/kg throughout its full rotor mass range, a result enabled by automatic calibration using the influence coefficient method applied directly to each rotor. Rotors up to 2,300 mm in diameter with journal diameters from 20 to 380 mm are accommodated, and the support span adjusts continuously from 150 to 2,630 mm to suit a wide variety of shaft geometries.
The belt-driven 7.5 kW motor covers balancing speeds from 150 to 1,500 rpm. Self-aligning roller supports protect journal surfaces from scoring and reduce roller wear over time.
No dedicated foundation, vibration isolation, or floor anchoring is required, simplifying installation in any workshop or repair facility. The machine is supplied with the SAPPHIR industrial touch-screen measurement and control system, which guides operators through calibration and measurement steps.
VMV metrology-grade variants are registered in the Russian State Register of Measuring Instruments under entry No. 66067-16.
