Description

PVS-40-06-U1 is designed to provide centralised power supply from high-voltage train main line of double-deck passenger cars of 61-44465, 61-4472, 614473 models. PVS-40-06-U1 consists of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) parts made in one construction. Any of 5 supply voltages can be applied to the converter input: 3000V and 1500V DC, 3000V and 1500V AC 50Hz and 1000V AC 16 2/3 Hz.

PVS-40-06-U1 at parking can function in full at supply from external AC network 3 x 380 V; 50 Hz with deviations of network voltage 10% from the nominal value. The converter control circuits are powered from the 110 V DC train main. Output voltage of 2 channels of the high-voltage part of the converter can vary depending on the composition and characteristics of power consumers of cars.

There are 435 pcs in operation.
