A device for treating calcaneal bone fractures contains a lever, on the rod of which is mounted a gripper movable along it, provided with a screw retainer. At the end of the rod end of the lever at an angle of 90 degrees mounted blade with the ability to rotate about its axis. When performing repositioning, the movable gripper is placed on the rod and fixed with a screw in the desired position depending on the size of the foot and the type of fracture.
Then we place the mobile gripper on the calcaneal tubercle in front of the calcaneal (Achilles) tendon, and the L-shaped end of the lever in the form of a pivoting scapula under the depressed posterior articular facet. Acting on the free end of the device rod in the direction of the foot base, we lift the fragment to its anatomical position. The process is carried out under X-ray control.
When positive results are achieved, the fragments are fixed with spokes, and the device is removed. Final fixation of the heel bone is performed with a plate and screws. Reusable.
