Description

The МЭОФ series is an explosion-proof, single-turn electric actuator in flanged configuration, manufactured by ЗИМ Промпривод (Actuator Factory Promprivod) based in Cheboksary, Chuvash Republic, Russia. These actuators are purpose-built for automated control of rotary shut-off and control valves — ball valves, butterfly valves, and rotary plug cocks — handling liquid and gaseous media in industrial pipelines.

The flanged design allows direct on-valve mounting via a coupling sleeve, eliminating external levers and linkages for a compact, rigid installation.

Each unit carries explosion-protection certification to class 1ExdIIBT4 or 1ExedIIBT4, with an explosion-proof enclosure that confines any internal arc and withstands internal overpressure without propagating ignition to the surrounding atmosphere. Protection class is IP65 per GOST 14254, suitable for outdoor and process-area installations.

Power supply is 220–240 V single-phase or 380–415 V three-phase at 50 Hz, paired with ПБР-2М or ПБР-3А position control starters.
