The Caspian (Каспий) is an integrated hardware-software drone detection and suppression system developed by RUS-TELECOM LLC, a Smolensk-based federal system integrator with extensive expertise in information security and physical facility protection. Designed to shield industrial, governmental, and critical-infrastructure sites from unauthorized UAV activity, the system combines passive radio-frequency detection with active jamming in a unified command-and-control architecture.
The software core is officially registered in Russia's national software registry under three separate entries (No. 13776, 13777, 13778 of 01.06.2022), confirming compliance with federal import-substitution requirements.
Detection hardware operates across the 2,400–2,500 MHz band — the primary control frequency used by consumer and commercial drones — and covers a minimum of four independent azimuth sectors, providing 360-degree situational awareness with an effective detection range up to 2,000 m. When a threat is identified, the system dispatches suppression signals covering the 425–450 MHz range at a minimum radiated power of 10 W, neutralizing intruding UAVs within a 700 m operational radius.
The platform's server-client software architecture runs on any modern Windows release or Linux distribution, enabling rapid integration into existing security infrastructure without proprietary operating-system dependencies.
