Disc couplings are designed for application in technological installations of oil refining and petrochemical industries for torque transmission from electric motor to pump and compensation of installation and operational bends and displacements.
Disc couplings allow:
significantly reduce vibrations and noise of the units;
increase the life of pump bearings and end seals;
eliminate the need for lubrication and maintenance;
provide easy mounting and dismounting of the units.
The couplings are designed for operation in conditions of open unheated premises with ambient air temperature from minus 40 deg C to plus 30 deg C and relative air humidity up to 80%, as well as in conditions of closed heated premises with ambient air temperature from plus 10 deg C to plus 22 deg C and relative air humidity up to 98%.
The couplings are designed for operation in the atmosphere containing vapours of oil and oil products with concentration up to 50 mg/m cube.
