Description

JBOD (disc array) is a set of multiple hard drives. All the discs in the product are combined into one common logical disc. Thus, instead of multiple individual discs, a JBOD allows the operator to see one larger disc by adding up the capacity of all discs connected to the JBOD.
HDDs or SSDs with SAS or SATA interfaces are used as storage media.
Structurally, JBOD is placed in a 4U form factor case (complies with GOST 28601.3-90 (IEC 297) for a rack according to GOST 28601.1-90/ GOST 28601.3-90 (IEC 297). .
