The proposed technology and equipment are designed for removal of particularly complex residues of highly viscous oil products from the boilers of tank wagons.
The technology is based on a circulating method based on erosion and removal of frozen high-viscosity oil products, including bitumen, heated to a sufficient and necessary temperature with fuel oil. The proposed technology and equipment are protected by patents of the Russian Federation.
The proposed method in comparison with steaming technologies has a number of advantages:
- due to intensive heat exchange between the mass of heated fuel oil supplied and frozen oil product in the tank provides high speed of this technological process;
- watering of oil products is excluded and there is a possibility of their further marketable use;
- due to lower temperatures than those used in steaming technology, the possibility of local overheating and, as a consequence, coking of oil products in the boiler of the tank car is excluded.
