The wagon is designed for carriage of postal items as a part of passenger and luggage-postal trains on railway sections of 1520mm gauge. It is formed only in coupling with the car of model 61-4505. Weight, not more than 36.6 tonnes. Width - 3104 mm. Length, along the coupling planes of couplings - 25500mm.
Design speed - 160 km/h. The warranty period of the car is 24 months from the date of commissioning, but not more than 30 months from the date of dispatch to the customer. Service life - 40 years.
