Furniture Doors, Countertops and Cabinet Components Direct from Russian Mills

Furniture assemblers and kitchen studios use this category to buy components instead of finished goods: 2,311 positions from 183 suppliers, dominated by Furniture Doors & Fronts (1,301 items) and supported by Countertops (253), Side Panels, Pilasters & Plinths (235), Tops and Hutch Cabinets (123) and Table Legs, Bases & Frames (81). Smaller lines cover shelving components, drawer boxes, headboards and furniture mirrors.

The economics work because Russia sits on its own raw material base. Domestic particleboard and MDF plants supply panel stock at prices that imported-board economies cannot match, and birch plywood, a Russian specialty, goes into drawer boxes and frames. A workshop in Tashkent, Yerevan or Dubai can therefore order cut-to-size fronts in a chosen decor and assemble locally, keeping the labour margin at home.

  • Custom dimensions: most mills cut fronts and panels to your drawing, typically with 1 mm tolerance and edge banding on all four sides.
  • Decor matching: factories work with widely distributed laminate decors, so components can match boards you already use.
  • Packing for transit: panels ship on pallets with corner protection and film wrap, suited to overland trucking to Central Asia or container loading.
  • Order scale: trial orders from one pallet are common; volume pricing starts around a full truck or 20 ft container.
  • Terms: EXW mill or FOB St. Petersburg, with overland delivery quoted separately for CIS destinations.

Send a cutting list or sample drawing through the marketplace and matching mills will return quotations.

FAQ

Can fronts and panels be cut to our own dimensions?
Yes, made-to-measure is the normal working mode for Russian component mills. You send a cutting list with dimensions, decor and edge-banding scheme, and the mill produces to order. Typical production time is 15-30 days depending on the decor and film availability, plus transit.
Which materials are these components made from?
The bulk is laminated particleboard and MDF, including painted, PVC-film and acrylic finishes for fronts. Countertops are usually moisture-resistant particleboard with HPL plastic, and some suppliers offer solid wood or birch plywood elements. Material certificates and formaldehyde emission class are stated in the product passport on request.
How do you prevent damage to panels during sea or road freight?
Components travel on pallets with cardboard interleaving, foam corner protection and stretch film, sometimes in plywood crates for glossy fronts. Mills that export regularly pack with overland vibration in mind. Claims for transit damage are handled through the carrier's insurance, so photographing the cargo on arrival is recommended.
Is there a minimum order for custom components?
Most mills accept trial orders from a single pallet, roughly 20-40 fronts or several countertops. Cut-to-size work below that volume is usually uneconomic once freight is added. For ongoing supply, buyers typically consolidate monthly truckloads combining fronts, panels and fittings from one or two mills.
Can we get samples of decors and edge banding before ordering?
Yes. Suppliers normally send decor swatches and small panel samples by courier; the buyer covers shipping. This is strongly recommended, because laminate decors look different in print than in person, and matching an existing furniture line requires physical comparison.
