The Z-5R is a compact standalone access control controller in its relay Wiegand configuration, widely used as the logic core of single-door entry systems. It accepts external readers over iButton (Dallas Touch Memory) and Wiegand-26 through Wiegand-42 protocols, stores up to 1,364 cards or keys in non-volatile memory, and supports DS1996L master keys for convenient database management.
Lock control is handled by a type 1C relay output switching up to 3 A at 24 V DC or 120 V AC, with the opening time adjustable from 0 to 220 seconds (3 seconds from the factory). The board runs on 9–24 V DC, draws only about 45 mA, and measures just 46 x 36 x 15 mm at roughly 26 g, so it fits inside reader housings and junction boxes.
Rated for ambient temperatures from -40°C to +50°C, it works at unheated entrances and outdoor gates. Built-in buzzer and LED indication, plus control of an external LED and buzzer, give users clear feedback.
With a 200-piece MOQ at accessible unit pricing, the Z-5R suits security integrators and electronics distributors assembling cost-effective access kits.
