The Yukon CC coronary stent on delivery system is designed for permanent placement in the lumen of stenosed coronary arteries or aortocoronary shunts to ensure their patency after acute or subacute occlusion. Its use is also indicated for restenosis or arterial dissection after PTCA. Patients contemplating stent implantation should be acceptable candidates (with indications and no contraindications) for coronary balloon angioplasty.
Design features of the benefit: stent bar thickness, ?m - 68 for MS, 79 for SS. Balloon pressure - nominal inflation pressure: 1100 kPa (11 bar). Nominal burst pressure: 1600 kPa (16 bar).
The microporous surface of the stent promotes better endothelialisation, which is important to prevent thrombosis and restenosis.
