The KPSH-5 wide-cutting flat-cutter is designed for fall and autumn tillage, as well as pre-sowing tillage of soils, light in mechanical composition, with maximum preservation of stubble and other stubble residues on the field surface after spike and tilled predecessors. Preservation of stubble protects the soil from wind erosion, which is important for steppe areas and areas with insufficient moisture. KPSh-5 is a mounted implement with symmetrical arrangement of working bodies, raising and lowering of which from transport position to working position and back is made by hydraulic system of the tractor from its cabin.
