The H90V8C is a trailed wheel-rake produced by NAVIGATOR-NM LLC (Navigator – New Machine Building), a Russian agricultural machinery manufacturer based in Perm. The company specialises in a full range of forage harvesting equipment — mower-conditioners, tedders, rakes, round balers, and bale wrappers — and the H90 series carries a certificate of conformity.
Wheel-rakes of the H90 series combine raking and tedding in a single pass, eliminating redundant field operations. The H90V8C mounts 8 finger wheels plus a signature central wheel — 9 working wheels in total — covering a 6-metre working width and achieving up to 6.2 ha/h.
The central wheel collects crop from under the future windrow, improving density and quality; it folds out of the way when only raking is required.
The tines are made from 7 mm heat-treated spring wire, giving both long service life and the gentle touch needed for leaf-sensitive legume crops such as clover and alfalfa. Wheel hubs run on tapered roller bearings rather than nylon bushings, significantly extending maintenance intervals.
A square-tube frame and drawbar ensure structural rigidity. Each of the two working sections folds hydraulically, so the operator moves from working to transport position without leaving the cab.
The machine is designed for tractors of traction class 0.6, requiring as little as 25 hp — according to the manufacturer, this low power demand translates into 8–12% savings on overall forage production costs compared with rotary-rake alternatives. Rated service life is 6 years and the machine weighs 613 kg.
