The BIOS+ b120 is a closed-type bactericidal UV air recirculator engineered for continuous air disinfection in occupied rooms — staff and visitors do not need to leave during operation because the UV radiation is fully contained within the sealed metal housing. Manufactured by BIOFARM LLC (Tver, Russia), a specialist in UV disinfection equipment, the b120 is the highest-capacity model in the BIOS+ catalogue.
Four 30 W bactericidal lamps emitting at 253.7 nm deliver a combined power of 120 W and a bactericidal lamp flux of at least 9.8 Ф.бк.Вт, achieving 99% bactericidal efficiency against airborne pathogens. The unit processes 500 m³ of air per hour, covering spaces up to 200 m², making it well suited to large medical wards, open-plan offices, restaurants, and retail floors.
It runs on 220 V / 50 Hz mains, draws no more than 120 W, and is rated IP40 per ГОСТ 14254-2015. The metal cabinet mounts on a wall or rests on the included floor stand; overall dimensions with the stand are 1430 × 220 × 200 mm and the unit weighs 14.2 kg.
Operating noise does not exceed 42 dB. The device is registered as a medical product under РУ № РЗН 2023/19789 and complies with ГОСТ 31829-2012, ГОСТ Р 8.760-2011, ГОСТ Р 51321.1-2007, and ГОСТ 30372-95.
