Description
Ultrasonic level switch UTS (UTSU) is designed for discrete control of liquid level in ship tanks, reservoirs, bilge wells, cofferdams, control of water inflow into compartments, etc. The principle of operation of ultrasonic signalling devices:
-Ultrasonic level switches have no moving parts. The principle of operation is based on the estimation of oscillation attenuation value of the resonator placed at the end of the waveguide rod, thus the waveguide is not sensitive to contact with liquid;
-piezoelectric transducer, generating oscillations, is placed in the body of the signalling device, placed outside the tank. This increases reliability and simplifies maintenance;
- ultrasonic principle of operation is characterised by increased protection against sticking, durability under dynamic loads, higher reliability of operation.
