The DOS-T1000U (ДОС-Т1000У) is a single-speed educational wood lathe produced by Stanki-Orient LLC, a Russian manufacturer of specialized woodworking machinery. Built for vocational schools, technical colleges, and small production workshops, the machine turns all common wood species and is suited for making balusters, stair posts, furniture components, decorative bowls, plates, and a wide range of artistic turned items.
The T-1000U model provides a maximum turning length of 1,000 mm between centers and a maximum turning diameter of 160 mm over the bed — expandable to 180 mm — with a center height of 80 mm. The single-speed spindle runs at 1,350–1,500 rpm, simplifying machine operation for students and trainees.
