Optical communication cable is designed for transmission of digital communication signals, is used for laying outdoors, as well as inside buildings, tunnels, collectors in conditions of electric field with increased requirements of resistance to electric field. The cable has an optical core in the form of a central tube, inside which 2 to 48 optical fibres are located, the free space in the tube is filled with hydrophobic compound along the entire length of the cable. On top of the core there is an inner sheath (or without it), armour in the form of a whip made of fibreglass rods with a diameter of at least 1 mm and an outer sheath made of polymeric materials
