Optical communication cable is designed for transmission of digital communication signals, is used for laying in soils of 1-3 groups, including confirmed permafrost deformations, under water, including through navigable rivers and deep water obstacles. The cable has a modular optical core consisting of a central power element around which optical modules and other elements (if necessary) are twisted.
Each optical module can contain up to 12 optical fibres, the total number of optical fibres in the cable is up to 144. The space inside the module is filled with hydrophobic filler along the entire length of the cable.
Cable protective cover is made of double armour of galvanized steel wires, intermediate sheath and outer sheath of polymeric materials
