Optical fire-resistant communication cable is designed for transmission of digital communication signals, is used for laying in soils of 1-3 groups, in cable ducts, blocks, inside buildings, tunnels, collectors with increased requirements to mechanical properties of the cable and operability in fire conditions. The cable has a modular optical core consisting of a central power element around which optical modules and other elements (if necessary) are twisted, each optical module can contain up to 12 optical fibres, the total number of optical fibres in the cable - up to 144 pieces.
The space inside the module is filled with hydrophobic filler along the entire length of the cable. The protective cover of the cable consists of steel tapes or steel corrugated tape and outer jacket of PVC plasticates of reduced fire hazard
