The base of the cone has an inner diameter sufficient for insertion of vacuum tubes with a diameter of 13 and 16 mm into the holder.
For convenient introduction of vacuum tubes into the holder, the base of the cone is equipped with an outer ring (finger stops), the plane of which is perpendicular to the axis of the holder. The holder has surface protrusions along its length for convenient insertion of the vacuum tube into the holder.
