Designed for the transfer of rolling stock from one track to another on railway lines.
The switch uses elastic fastening of frame rails and cross rails with a counter-rail with the use of special spring terminals.
The switch is made with flexible sharps. The transfer uses pads with high flanges and rubber-cord spacers between the rail sole and pads.
The crossbar is made of high manganese steel of welded construction - rail ends are welded to the core.
Counter rail, not connected to the track rail. The shackles and frame rails are HFI hardened.
